Charlie - that is a bummer! There was one time a few decades ago where I had my car battery stolen at a launching site, so I kind of know how you feel. Within the past few years I have somewhat had my faith in human decency restored. Several times I have launched at local ramps and carefully locked my SUV, then when I got back to the ramp found that I had left my windows down! Some folks might call it Alzheimer's ... anyway, nothing has been taken from my vehicle lately. But I definitely get it that it is the principle that is important and that the loss of trust in human honesty hurts a lot worse than the material loss.

Thanks to all for the kind comments on my little fishing mishap. I had only brought it up because I had promised to get outdoors and take some pics of my EDCs in their natural habitat. The pics were on the camera and the camera grew legs so I haven't made good on my promise yet. I'll try to get out this coming weekend and give it another shot. Ebay can be a wonderful thing, I have another old beat up digital camera already! It works fine and only cost me $12.00 + S&H. I've also replaced the canvas bag and about half of the tackle I lost so I'm well on the road to complete recovery. The six-pack cooler is another story, there were two Killians Red brewskis left in it. I may never recover from that loss!

Here's a few of mine I was experimenting with photographing a few nights ago. I'm not very good at taking pictures but this was the best one I could come up with.

You've got some beauties, Randy! I guess it's hard to get detail when you have so many in one picture but it is a good picture allowing me to still identify certain ones. I'm not a big fan of fixed blades, other than filet and kitchen knives but what is the double barreled scabbard/sheath in the middle of the picture?

That's a great shot redden, nice poses, different angles and levels, plenty to keep checking out for quite some time. Sweet knives all around.

Redden - nice photo. You know, if anyone at the gun and knife show had a table like that it would be real hard for me to walk by without buying something!

Took a couple dozen pics yesterday. Practicing my knife photography and I see there is still plenty of room for improvement. Lighting, focus and blade glare seem to be what I need to get under control. Enjoying the learning process though.

Northwoods whittler

Picked up this vtg Ray-O-Vac Sportsman flashlight (in amazing condition and still working) at an estate sale yesterday and
decided it needed it's picture taken....

Ha ha ha, that's a good one. Depends on your definition of dud. I don't post if it isn't interesting or pretty IMHO.

Jtx, that's THE best looking Spyderco I've ever seen because it's not black, and that is the finest antler I've ever seen on one. Great looking knife.
