An old neighbor had electrical service problems for which I couldn't t take dollars but I did take this mint Barlow brand USA scrimshaw pen,she'll go in Grandsons collection

Just settling in to start my day at 0615 and opened my email from estatesaels.org....
Looked at the last listing in the email and said..... Oh, I gotta go, like now....

Ended up with theze items from the sharp side...

Scott, from what I can see, the Japanese camp knife looks to be in pretty good condition. At least the sheath looks good.

Nice Barlow (brand) scrimshaw Dogg - I have a little Barlow pillbox my daughter gave me a few years back - classic scrimshaw must have been their marketing niche.

Scott, good haul - must be a special run Buck to have that tan sheath. What are the tang markings? OH

Tang markings indicate 2 dots on either side if the item number....
1981- 1986 time frame.

Gut me Geo Schrade hunt and fishing knife at an antique mall been seeking one of these for awhile.

Nice knife, dogg. I guess that's a lock back.
I've got one with a doubled up frame to include the hook remover. No lock.
They are well built knives.

Man Joe that's nice I guess they are lockbacks.

Went to a community sale today and found these on my last stop. I musta hit about 25 sales in this community....

I'm home from Michigan with these treasures. Case XX advertizing Drycor Felt, old Winchester Red celuloid, very nice except for some pitting and pin cracks, Pal bone jack with match striker pull, and a 1966 Puma White Hunter, all for around $125. All 3 pocket knives have good snap and mostly full blades.

Ah, there's that Puma. It's my opinion that knife alone is worth more than what you paid for the entire group. Congratulations.

Great score, I'm going to have to get me one of those Puma I love the shape
of that blade.
May be for christmas a present to me!

Nice hauls gentlemen. Those Puma White Hunters have a great blade shape - very similar to the Buck 103 - two of the nicest looking hunting knives out there. OH
