robpa wrote: Sat Mar 09, 2024 8:22 pm I like to breed and fly pigeons. Top to bottom are baldhead and cream bar Birmingham rollers. They circle above the loft and do really fast backward spins. Next are iraqui reds, they are used in pigeon wars , when ya see a neighbors pigeons out flying you go release a bunch of yours and hope they lure his to your loft. Then ya call him up and demand a ransom or your gonna eat his birds!
The bottom are old german Owls. They fly a bit but mostly just look cute for showing. probably get some racing Homers but will just fly local, no 600 mile races for $100,000 purses! Yep, 1st place a 100Gs.
Guess I got chickenman doing pigeons now too. Homers & tumblers.
Cool! 8) I like those baldhead and cream bar Birmingham rollers. ::nod:: ::tu::

Same here mate. Music is really therapeutic, playing is even more so.

Have to do a massive downsize if everything here, moving into a home in the city.
Thankfully I have the perfect guitar for me ('72 Thinline Tele reissue), and a gorgeous clean amp. All my pedals on a rechargeable power supply, I'm set for life.
:D

Two nice additions to your collection. The Indiana plate is from Allen County, my home for 42 years.
How many to go before you have all 50?

I already have all 50 but I'm still enjoying collecting them. What I am still missing is Washington D.C. right now. ::nod::

Good deal, I learned something new. ::nod:: ::tu::
::hmm:: So if someone was a real die hard Indiana Fan, they could collect all the counties by use of the prefix #. ::hmm:: Interesting. ::nod::

I spent the greater part of the day hanging up license plates today. My collection has grown to 101 plates.
I have a small group of farm related plates next to a small group of University plates & now I just scored a plate that would fit into both of these groups so it will be a great transition plate between the two groups. ::nod:: ::tu::

Kansas University Jayhawks with what appears to be wheat in the background. ::hmm::
I'm pretty stoked about it! ::nod:: ::super_happy::

::paranoid:: This is Michigan’s 1976 red, white and blue bicentennial plate, which will be updated for America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. In 1976, Michigan's red, white and blue bicentennial plate earned "Best New Plate" honors from the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA, Inc.) When reissued in 2026, the “76″ may well be replaced by a “26” with the rest of the design remaining unchanged but we shall see what they come up with in two years. ::tu:: ::super_happy::

Fact is, if I am still around here, I will have them both in my collection. ::nod:: ::tu:: ::super_happy::
