Wow, that is nice, enlarged the photo, is that bone, it looks like it to my eye, whatever it is it oozes character.

I'm not sure of the answers to any of your questions.
I haven't taken the time to fully research it yet.
My current speculation is made by Schrade in the 90s.
Of course that is subject to change with further research or comments by others here on AAPK.
As far as where you can buy one, I can't help there either. I bought this on from a buddy of mine that is a knife/antique dealer.
I will be on the lookout for one for you. Sorry to be of little help.
