It's been a long time since we had a bombing. Way to go Mike and nice catch Scott. I've always had a love for ZIPPO lighters and still do I guess. There are two sounds that you can immediately recognize, the roar of a Harley and the click of a ZIPPO.

Also don't take too much guessing at the sound of a pump shotgun being racked.....
If we are talking about sounds that is.

I off-handedly made the statement one night in chat during a discussion about Buck 110s, that I had never owned one. Well I got bombed today with this brand new in the box Buck 110 U.S.A. from none other than master bombadier Philco. Thanks so much Phil. It'll be a treasure but you know I'll have to try it out. This thing shaves arm hair with the factory edge!

Round about this time last week I rec'd a pkg in the mail that I knew was coming. Dale (orvet) asked me if I could use some jewelers files? Well, naturally I responded........................................what the hell are jewelers files.

In case I ever get a hankerin' to expand on my knife making a fancyin' skills, my good brother from Oregon hooked me up with a knice little pile! Thanks Dale!! I am very grateful!

Didn't know for sure if this would be considered a "Bombing" or not, but in keeping with the generous attitude of the AAPK members, I would like to report the following incident:

It seems that a few weeks ago, PA Knives was advertising a couple of knives for a friend. I was interested in one of the knives because it was born around the same year I was born, '46. We conversed over the knife and finally a price was settled on, I chose not to purchase it. I showed the picture to my wife and she agreed with me that it looked great and the year was a plus and that she would buy it for my upcoming birthday. So I got back with David about the Camillus knife and the deal fell through as his friend decided to keep the old knife . After reporting this to me, David told me he would be traveling to some areas where he might come up with a suitable knife and he would send it to me for my birthday . Fast forward a few weeks, got a PM asking for my address and today the prettiest little black handled # 21 Camillus arrived in the Florida panhandle! The little gal is about 2 3/4" long, walks and talks, half stops both blades and the clip is the 1/2 saber grind. As you can see it has full blades that have been sharpened a little but it is a great knife, biggest problem my wife thinks it might fit her pocket book quite well .

It is with great pleasure I report this "Bombing" by PA Knives. Thank you again David !

Just when you think it's safe to crawl out of your fighting hole...

The postal carrier dropped off two packages yesterday. One I was expecting, the other I wasn't. I had ordered some single knife pouches for a current project and was happy to see they had arrived. The other package was from 313 Mike.

This is what he sent, along with a note that reads:

"Hi Jerry! I know this one may be a bit outside of what you normally accumulate, but it does have Illinois advert on it... and you do like 'em shiny & new... and you do have a thing for colors (even though it's not orange or pink). So anyways I thought of ya, so here ya go. If it doesn't suit ya, pass it on as you see fit. And oh yeah, I know you were recently admiring Guarddog's trailer hitch toilet seat, so I saw this one and thought of ya once again! The Off Road Commode! It's got your name written all over it man!

As for the knife, thank you very much Mike. I don't think I had a Colonial in my pile before you sent this one. I like advertising items and this is a prime example of Colonial's products so I'm keeping it.

By sheer co-incidence I happened to notice that someone (Gino perhaps?) just posted this knife's twin over in the Colonial thread! Different advertising and slightly different shield I think but same knife. Perhaps there are more of these that have surfaced recently? Have to keep an eye open.

As for the ol' Off Road Commode....I just couldn't resist putting that in there for ya. If you are short on Christmas ideas for the family this year, it's always an option. The gift that keeps on giving.

Josh I think that is a Gibens thrower. How long is it.

ya know knifetime i think it was about 5" oal , it was smaller.....
i gave it to my nephew who is into throwers and throwing right now.......
he hasn't reported back yet, to if any good err not????
