Well, not exactly a knife, but I was pretty tickled to find this today. Don't know what it was supposed to look like on the inside, and it's not overly flashy, but it's in decent shape.

Picked these up today.
The Case is a 6292 from 1940 -1964 I believe (stamp is tought to read).
Blades are worn and would probably only serve as a whittling knife as both tips now set above the scales

That's still some good looking bone on that Case though!

Amazingly it is in very, very good condition....no chips or cracks!

A little CAREFUL work on the kicks and those blades will sit down nicely!
I'd recommend a day or three in Mineral oil to see if the walk and talk are okay.
I'd be tickled spitless to get a 40-64 in that condition!

Rare and cool Jacknifeben Gut me a USA only mark,old Cott bottling knife.Anyone know if they were made by Camillus or other?I believe Colonial maybe from the 60's as our local Cott went out of business then.

Cool piece of New England history. Here's a Cott Deputy Sheriff made by Imperial Knife Co.

I would tend to lean toward Colonial also, GD, nice one. Seem to see these all over the place but not in this area, LOL.

Picked up these two yesterday at the North Star Coll. meeting. A green bone cigar cattle knife marked only "Peerless" that appears by the bone to look like it may have been made by Ka-Bar, and a fancy Knivfabriken stainless Balisong (butterfly) from Sweden.

Thanks Bill. Yeah, I do too. It's a strange little knife. I bought it from a friend who is the best knife repairman I know and who is very knowledgable on knives. Neither one of us know anything much about Peerless and he's the one who suggested it looked like Ka-Bar's bone and jigging. The main blade and the spey open just a tiny bit short of staright out but we both agree it came from some factory like that. I'm into it for a whopping $10 and he threw in the butterfly for $20 more so it was a good day for me and my budget._____Dave

I like that Jack. Goins says Kansas City and 1910 to 1930 but not much else. I tried a computer search but came up empty. Thanks for sharing. ___Dave
