Rookie: Those are all fine photos but the very first one is a knockout. I noticed how the mushrooms underscored the handle colors near the bolsters.

And the 3rd one down also. The background repeating the scales. Great eye. Congrats.

Yeah, I saw those mushrooms growing on a rotted log, and I knew I had to try and get them into a shot with the amber stag knife.

Cool fungus ... err ... photos Rookie! I especially like the third photo - the first whittler photo - nicely composed, in my opinion.

Thanks Abraham, I mean Quick Steel.

Ever think about a calender? With all the beautiful pics you'd have a pic a month for the next 50 years.
Great pics everyone, weather's been cold, overcast or rainin' the last few day so not much in the way of pics. Add to that I've been a bit under the weather too so I'll pull a pic from the pile on computer.

Really dig that MOP knife, MadHung, nice job capturing the fiery iridescence (not an easy thing to do with MOP in photos)...what brand is it? I recognize the pattern, but my Partz-heimer's just won't let me ID it. (Partz-heimers = not quite Alzheimer's). Do you have any open blade pics?

jmh58, Sweet stag...and the reflection of the wood in the blade mirrors the texture very nicely...well done~!
Mad Hungarian is right, someone really ought to put together a calendar from all the outstanding photos in this thread--either that or a coffee table book.

We should see if Knife Magazine would want to add a new monthly column where non-professional photos of knives can be submitted from collectors, and maybe have 8-10 chosen each month to show off. That would be cool!

Thanks for the compliments folks.
Q ht e pearl knife is one of Matt Conable's designs for William Henry's knives, it from the original series. It's a T10-P Pearl Lancet, I'll look for an open pic, I'm sure I have one but if not I'll take it and post it.
Love the Boy Scout knives.
Found a pic

A couple of gratuitous knife n' shroom pics...one with a morel which I will be eating shortly, and one with a pheasant back (or driad's saddle), which is still attached to the log in the woods...

Very nice Mike. I love those morels too, too bad they only grow for a short time each spring.
Here are a few shots I got during my walk during my lunch break today.
