In her defense, I work in a pawn shop, and I bring home stuff almost every day. It's an addiction. She calls it my deal of the day. Not every day is as good a find as this though. Sometimes it's a half a box of bolts or something I think I can use later. I think they call it hoarding now.

I didn't get a shot of it, but the Klein actually has a small spot that looks like weld splatter with some copper where somebody got a hot wire.

I'm digging that Schrade. I like the shape and the little bail.

Just found the small tooth pick with a bolster lock. Is this the same blade lock as Robeson used. This one is marked CATTARAUGUS SPRINGDALE, ARK. K.C.C.CM 12 JAPAN.

Stumbled on a few today.....couple military pieces too!
The military knife has U.S. stamped on one side and 1908 on other. Is this from WWI?

The hatchet has US MANN 1944 stamped.

It looks like an m1 garand bayonet to me except that it appears that the blood groove goes all the way to the tip. I had heard of a need for bayonets and the practice of longer ones being cut down to meet numbers, and that the older longer ones were impractical for close quarters combat. I'm not positive on this though.

Scott, I believe it is the bayonet to the M1898 Krag. I'll dig through my MILSURP books in a spell. OH

Scott, your bayonet is for the Models M1892 - M1898 Krag rifle. The Bayonet is a Model of 1892. There were two versions the bayonet (the M1892 for general issue with an 11-1/2" blade) and the Cadet Model of 1895 (for West Point issue with an 8-3/4" blade). Your bayonet has been cut back from the original length (see Fuller, which on yours is open at the tip end). The scabbard for both of the bayonets as issued was steel. OH

Today find a RH28-4.5" fixed.

Here's a Utica teardrop jack that I picked up yesterday at the Central Ky. Knife Show. It punched a bunch of my buttons with the long pull, deep swedges, half stops on both blades, bowtie shield, and those bone handles.

Oh my Phil. It mashes a bunch of my buttons too. Can you tell I'm turning green?
