I am a little late posting to this thread, but want to give some input about Rosecraft Blades. I sell them in my store here in Mt City and on eBay. They are selling well. After handling many, many of their knives, I find them to be very consistent in high quality construction, with smooth transitions, excellent snap open/shut, and have no wobble. The liners and springs are tight with no gapping. Fit and finish are excellent. From a dealer perspective, you couldn't get better customer service. Andy and crew are great! I believe you would be impressed if you got any of their knives. Not trying to sell here, only contribute.
And back on topic ... here is one my fixed blades in the collection:
Buck 120
Nice Buck Tony! And thanks for the info. Do you know if they are importing parts?
Thanks Sasquatch! From talking with Andy and and internet info, they are completely made in China per their specs etc. Andy says they inspect every single knife before selling. They do have future plans to do them all in the USA, but the date is undetermined.
That is the understanding that I have. They are made in China but the company is making plans to bring it all to the USA. I, for one, am pulling for them 100%. I'd love to see a new cutler in the USA making good quality traditional pocket knives at a reasonable price. I took a look at your store on line. I really like that Riverbend Skinner.

If they offered the Skinner in some type of jigged bone and a different color other thank the red or bourbon on their other knives, I think it would stand out.

Big, bold, n' beautiful Muela, Charlie!
I have a couple folders of theirs that I like very much, but I hadn't consciously been aware they make fixed blades also, but now seeing an example of one I am impressed.
Your knife looks like it could cover all or most situations it's called upon for, and then some!

The Muela "Crocodile" Bowie is about 13 inches OAL. Here is a much smaller Muela upswept skinner at 8 inches OAL.

Equally good lookin' bowie, Charlie.
You can almost see the quality oozing from it.
Probably much more manageable than the huge one, too.
Nice knives you have there!

very nice Charlie...I picked up a couple customs from AAPK FOR SALE section a week or so back. The knives are both made by custom knife maker Fred Perrin, as usual I did no look up or any searching of his works. But after getting them I searched out just a little to see what I got. Anyway found my way to Arizona Custon Knives page to discover the maker has quit a large amount of works. Anyway here they are...
Micarda handles well after getting the knives I found this out about the guy… I guess a tough guy…

Perrin, Fred
Fred Perrin makes fixed blades and folders of every kind; Forges Damascus steel or uses stock removal techniques. In any case, he always does his own heat treatment and tempering. As far as his background in the martial arts, Fred has spent two years in the French Army Commandos and worked as a bodyguard. He was a national Tae Kwon Do champion and a European full contact stick-fighting champion. He has trained in Kali, and God knows what else. His weapon of choice is the butterfly knife, in which he excels. Aside from being France’s most famous and controversial knife maker and tactical writer, Fred runs a school where he teaches a very unique blend of knife, stick, and empty hand techniques. He is often contracted by France’s elite police units for seminars. He also provides some agencies with custom-made weapons for ballistic testing.

Thanks Marco.

Actually both of the Muelas are well balanced and easy to handle. I sometimes find that smaller knives are hard for me to handle and control because I have large hands. In both cases here the handles are very comfortable in the hand making control easy which is unique for me because I normally find finger grove handles too small.

Very nice Jamie!

I've heard of Mr. Perrin. The first time I remember his name coming up I was in the military...which stands to reason. He has solid reputation in the knife making world though I can't personally attest to it, not owning any of his knives. I guess you could say he is kinda' a French version of Jeff Cooper.

Good lookin' knife Tony, great color on the handle too but I really dislike those Kydex (or hard plastic) sheaths. I know they are popular with the military and tactical guys but I'll take leather or canvas. I have a accumulated a few of them and I'm looking for leather sheaths to replace all of them. I haven't had any experience with Ruike but it looks like a solid multi-purpose knife.

Thanks Sasquatch! ::tu:: on the kydex sheath ... don't like them either. It is a solid knife, not too heavy or light ... about right! I have big hands and prefer larger knives. The steel is 14C28N Stainless Stonewashed. Don't know much about the steel, but I like stonewashed on this type of knife.
