The knife with copper bolsters is very appealing.

I have several Rough Rider Barlows(17) and would like more. Looking for a few older RR barlows and waiting for new ones to come out.

Hey, new to the forum (second post). Been collecting Rough Riders for a few weeks now. Have some canoes (3), cotton samplers (4), swayback whittler and one arm jack. Have a gunstock jack and buckshot bone teardrop on the way.

Well Jerryd has one that he likes.

I have one that I like, but
only because my wife bought it for me for Christmas. There is a pin, that the Lanyard for the whistle is tied around. On the knife I have, the Pin is bent or twisted out of shape or out of place. So that when I open the secondary blade, it cuts off the Lanyard every time.
It would be a really cool knife if it didn't cut through the Lanyard every time I open the secondary blade.

It gets pocket time because my wife gave it to me.

I got my Covis $$$ this week so had to buy a couple of knives. It's a rule isn't it? One is a Case 54 USMC embellished and the other is a Rough Rider 1952 Small Moose. I'm eager to get it and see if I like it as much in hand as I do in the picture. Same size as a Mini-T, 3½" closed. The secondary blade looks like it should be on a Panama Trapper.

My new Rough Rider Amber jigged bone lockback, pictured with a Buck 55 for comparison. Fit & finish is excellent' sharp out of the box. I'm still amazed at the quality vs cost of these knives. It'll replace the 55 in my pocket to get a workout.

I've been thinking about a 55; the 110 is too big for what I need.
That RR might be the thing to get and see if the size and style works for me

Steve, I'd give it a try. The RR is a bit larger than the 55, and a lot less expensive! I've gotta say though the 55 is a sweet pocket carry. You wouldn't be disappointed in one.

Let me help you spend your money (after all, what's $50-60 out of $1200).

You won't regret it.

I know ghis is a RR thread, but the 55 is an extremely impressive knife. Been in my pocket ever since I got it, just plain perfect IMO.

Just got these in. Tear drop jack in buckshot bone and a gunstock jack. I have a weakness for spear point blades.

Rough Rider has made many different single blade lock backs. Even in 2007 they had at least 20 different lock back patterns. So there is a R.R. lock back that is the perfect size for everyone. I have about 30 ? single blade RR lock backs, most i bought around 2007-2009. Every one of them is shaving sharp and not even one has a hint of blade play. I don't know how 'they' can do this so consistently.
