Canal Street Pinch Lock Back, Maroon Bone Clip.

Right down my alley with the Canal Street Pinch, Ivoryman. I notice your knife does not have a shield. The ones I have do. My curiosity is now aroused.

I had nothing to do with those dirty shield thieves, it's not my fault, I swear I'm innocent!

LOL I'm just surprised to see it without a shield having ever been installed.

I had been saving this for years in case my Dad lost his.
Since I got it out and started toting it I have fallen head over heels for it!

I-man, I love that maroon bone on your Canal Street. Very nice.

Thanks. Really liking the knife. Haven't had it very long and just noticed one side of the blade is mirror polish, one side is satin/brushed. Anyone seen this before? Factory oversight? Odd, but still love the knife.

Ivoryman that is the way Canal Street finished many of their knives.

Dang I-man wonder where yours came, oh wait we don't want to get that started again ! They are fine knives imho, I've whittle some tough old oak, cut some cardboard up for the recycle bin, cut some binder string to length, cut some poke plants down and trim some bushes and its still sharp.

That's funny. Here's what the papers say. Says Canadian made for whatever that's worth.

It does I-man.did you read the counterfeit thread about these knives,pretty interesting.I'm gonna have to put mine to the stone as I kind of abused it today.I was changing the blades on the bad boy and I couldn't get the socket on the bolt for the grass build up so I scraped it off with the Chinese/ Canadian grohmann. She'll still slice paper but she won't shave the hair off my arm, so I may put her to the hone.

I read the thread, but Grohmann says they make them in Canada. Ordered mine from Grohmann in Canada. Found Walmart carries them too. Unless they are lying on the COA, their adds, their web page, and their tang stamps, then Grohmann says they make them too. How could anyone tell them apart from the Chinese knock offs? Obviously if you order one from China it came from China. But if you order it from Canada and it came from Canada I doubt they are selling Chinese copies at Grohmann in Canada.
