I give really trashy looking knives a nice soak in mineral oil.
Can be a mess to clean up afterwards but oh well.

Found this one at an antique store today. Yeah it's celluloid but had to pick it up for the price. 4 line Camillus Anglo Saxon whittler. Does anyone know if this is a prototype? Marked with 150 on the back of the main blade. I suspect the handle material was prototype as I have seen pearl handle models of this pattern.

That's a real beauty for so many reasons.

.........I have never seen one like this!!!...if it's about 3 3/8" closed, I have one similar, only mine has a clip primary and 2 pen blades, no nail file, w/bone handles, same shield!!.........how is it marked???........that's a winner!!!....... ................

Wow, that knife is stunning Rex! I would have popped on the cell also, regardless.

That's a right nice Camillus. It's the first I've seen with a blade etch like that. I'd probably have ripped my back pocket off in whipping my billfold out to buy that thing!

Yeah I got a steel on the whittler. It was in a cigar box along with some other lesser quality knives.

Yes you did. I've never seen an Anvil fixed blade before, much less one in the box. I also like that plier, adjustable wrench combo. That whole lot appeals to the knife junkie in me.

I must agree. I have never seen quite that combination of pliers and adjustable wrench.

FOUND THIS ON THE COMBO TOOL :
The tool consists of a pair of slip-joint pliers with cutters, an adjustable Crescent style wrench on one handle, and a screwdriver on the other handle. Per some internet research it appears that this tool was sold as a set with the Kabar marine Mate Knife. Also, based on it's characteristics I suspect that it was made the Diamond Tool Company since it resembles their No. DH16 HandyBoy tool (also HandyMan model ).

That's what it is Josh.....just ain't no numberts to go weith it...and it is clearly spelled HANDIMAN.....a true rare item.
