All About Pocket Knives

Got my same old stuck in a "SHARP" rut EDC knives on me.

But my Dad tried to cut steel strap with his Schrade 3OT and I spent some time getting to slice paper again! It is at least 10 years old and still has no wobble and solid lock up.

And I have another Brand New one in a box!

Touched up the edge and cleaned up, this little Ram's Horn Trapper going to give her some pocket time for a few days !!!!

I've been trying to carry some of bucks lately. No go. Keep coming back to this. Funny different knives earn their keep and funny how we all have different uses which leads us to different preferences. Also interesting to me how I can be drawn to some knives ( Bucks) but end up carrying another (Opinels).

Favorite EDC is my BM Bedlam

I have had this Queen 41L with me tyhe last day and I really like it. It locks up nice and tight and the carved stag bone is really awesome.

All is right with the world. Yesterday I had the GEC 85 in my pocket but today back the Boys Knife!

This old Buck Wrangler is going rabbit hunting with me this morning - first trip out for this one. OH

Carrying my modified Buck Ecolite 112 with a 442 blade in it. Spent some quality time with a stone while NEMO shook the house. Thinned out the spine of the hollow ground blade. Waddya know? It slices better now.

Unrelated to knives... my favorite all time invention ever made is the Airens two-stage snowblower.

Got my delivery made, got brakes on the Cherokee. Got out of my work duds.

It is my month to usher at church, so I had light dress slacks on; this Case Mini-Copperhead has plenty of blade for light duty use, but is flat and lightweight so that it carries nicely in the pocket. OH

Ps Very nice knives there Gino and Colonel26! Dave, the strawberry color of your Case whittler just knocks my eyes out - it is a beaut!

Thank you! Those scales are American chestnut. A tree that is no more sadly. The lumber was reclaimed from an old barn right up the road from me here in KY, and used by Canal Street. I really lie this knife.

Week 8 of 10 on my cycle my new (first time in the rotation) GEC half congress with Buffalo horn scales

Went ice fishing today ::td::brought this along for a conversation piece,the cribbage was good..

Today it's a Schrade Walden 895. This is my first Schrade Walden, and boy am I impressed. Great knife, no gaps, not even a pin hole, great blade travel, great snap. Of it was a might bigger it'd be perfect.

It takes a great edge too.
