All About Pocket Knives

I keep coming back to these knives, 2016 Case CV with bonestag handles. I have gone back periodically to see if any other patterns have been released but cannot even find these ones anymore! Plenty of bonestag but all in SS.

Warm day in the Wisconsin woods today, temps in the mid 30's...out looking for sheds with no luck. Snapped this pic of my 66 though.

Very good photos on this page. Interesting backgrounds with the glass, rocks, leather and fungus. I use leather, rocks, and wood for my background, usually.

Ivoryman - I like that photo of the Bullet End 85. Like Quick Steel said, the angle is arresting.

My favorite S&M Keystone Whittler with brothers pistol. The MOP is insane, fiery and flashy. Pics do it no justice.

Ivoryman, that FN is stunning. Longest I've ever stared at a firearm photo on AAPK. Is it a one-off? The closest I could find is this rather plain-jane MOP-handled baby Browning which seems to have already been sold off by the pawn shop that posted the listing. That one can't carry water for your brother's, though. Thanks to you and him for sharing it, I now have to readjust my standards for a semiauto.

Thanks Bomba, don't know about one off. It was a gift from the Browning family though so maybe.

Ivoryman - that is some nice MOP on that Browning. I wonder if you can shoot it with those grips not breaking. I seem to recall a .22 revolver company selling MOP grips but suggesting changing them out before shooting. I like that Schatt and Morgan also. That is the first that I have seen with the 925 SS stamp on the shield. I have a few Keystones and one of them has a shield hat I have always suspected was real silver. Clearly a different metal from the bolsters and a patina like old silver, but no stamp on mine.

KnifeSlinger - that is a fine old Schrade. I can see why it is your favorite. That slip has been around the block a few times too.

Dinadan, didn't know about MOP and shooting. I'll mention it to him. But he never shoots this one I know that so nothing will get broken anyway. And to me if you took the grips off you'd ruin the thing. The shield is sterling silver. Could be wrong but I thought someone here told me 925 was the percentage of silver.
Q, BLOWN AWAY! Fabulous background with sea and land meeting, and the foreground rocks. Blue of the water and the bone blending nice. The rock it sits on is a little blue on my screen. Can't say enough about what a cool shot you made, but also that setting is incredible. Looks like you live in a beautiful island paradise. Bravo, one of the best photos I've seen in a while. Good pose too. A+ all the way.
