I like that teal color a whole lot, but when I bought mine it wasn't available, so I ended-up with the black/grey L-8! Great knives!

The 12. Kind of smallish, excellent knife all around, good color. Popular with some kids I know. The color sold me, never would have tried one if they were the same old. Fine well made knife with zero movement or wobble. Pet peave is autos that wobble all over the place. This one is perfect. Fires like a dream too. Blows away the AKC and the Cobrateck OTF that I had. Thanks.

Thanks for that info, I-man, and I'm in full agreement with many of our points.
The color is what caused me to originally investigate these knives, and once I had I was hooked.
What you describe as a "pet peave" , a knife that has blade wobble, is a definite deal-breaker for myself, and a big part of the reason I don't care for OTF's. They do make OTF's much better nowadays with virtually zero play, but even bottom-end models will run you $3,000.+, and that's far too much for a knife I don't much care for in the first place.
I have heard/read other guys say that their AKC and/or Cobrateck knives aren't the greatest knives around, now with you saying the same there must be something to it.

Nice add to the thread, beauties in there. I like the GEC, the Boker, the Kershaw, the Moki and the tie dye blade. Great variety.

Blue is my favorite color, and I only have one blue knife. I should probably do something about that. Until then, here is my only blue knife. Upstate Cutlery Native in 1084.
