Fine old Camillus. I was thinking it was an old Ulster Knife Co.

Here's the other one I was thinking about. It is an old Sears (Kastor list) whittler I believe.

Dogg, I've got a little of that going on with this W H Morley.

Some one snapped the blade and I smoothed it out a little and it's still a respectable knife.

Nice looking group 'too'. Good thing about collecting Whittlers is that there are many different whittler patterns and a huge number of examples of every pattern. You will never run out of knives to add to your Whittler collection.

Floyd what is meant by "Kastor list" ?
I think most of the "Forged/USA" marked knives were made by Camillus.

Here’s a little one from Duane Cutlery Co. Germany . Don’t know much about the Company, they were in business around 1910 to sometime in the 1920s . Nice little piece, picked it up from a member here, carry it on the weekend once in a while.
Some very nice Whittlers been shown here. Nice read and show .

Roland there is a list of Camillus knives made for Sears from 1935 through 1960 that was put out when Kastor was president of Camillus. It is posted a place or two on one of the Camillus forms I think. Not a lot of explanation but just a list.

The "Duane Cutlery" is a good looking knife and it is at least 100 years old ! I assume "Duane" was an importer ? or is this name associated with a hardware store chain ? I have never seen a knife with this marking.

Here is a Duane Cutlery with beaded gold handles.Guess you could call it a,"whittler with an extra appendage" :mrgreen:
