Well I don't know if S&M deserve a or a for their clip point 'canoe' because they changed the spinnaker for a lateen sail on their canoe.

Canoe overdose!!!

This arrived today via the ol' UPS brown mule train.

It's difficult to get a good photo of this one because of the glass reflecting the light.

Well Phil, I've never bought a complete mint set before but I figure a man's got to splurge at least once in his knife collecting life. When they came out with one that is ALL CANOES.... ...I couldn't resist. I've been scheming and saving for this one for almost two years. I'll probably never buy another Mint Set.......unless....yep...you guessed it....they do another one with all canoes.

Charlie I'm happy for you that you were able to add it to your collection. What a sweet addition it is.

I snagged this on fleabay cheap with no box or paperwork. I wonder whose member number is on the bolster and how it ended up on ebay.

The May 1st email from Shepard Hills had one of these sets that they were breaking up.
It's gone from the website now .....

I saw that email Chris. They had the full set marked down too! Of course Murphy's law ruled supreme and I saw the email the same day my set arrived! I got a great price from another dealer but I still could have saved some money. I'm not upset, I could have been one of the folks who paid about $1600 when they were first released.

I just added another canoe to the fleet!
