All About Pocket Knives

Need to add this one to this thread, Schrade Farmers Jack with a blade etch for Bartlett Manufacturing Co which was an arborist supply and manufacturing company in Detroit Mich. The 2 earlier examples I found in this thread have Bartlett tang stamped while this one is tang stamped Schrade Walden with the Bartlett etch.

Fine knife John.I believe Lyle has a Schrade with the same etch.
Has for Lyle I spoke to him a few days ago on the phone and he seems to be well.He has been spending his time with his lady friend.He also said he recently proposed and she accepted!

Well good for him. Roger, I now remember you telling me about that at Parker's last show. I hope it works out for him. Lyle, if you see this, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Although you do now realize, it will seriously cut into your knife hobby/habit. Remember, an omission about spending money on knives is technically NOT lying.

Mark, thanks for selling it to me, I'll be sure to enjoy it, my wife is also into Farmers Jacks and I'm having a hard time keeping it from her.

That's not the way my other half thinks, after she found out what I had spent over about 18 months mid 13 through 14 and abit into 15 because I got a call about winning an auction and "which card to charge it to as they had a few on file". I still catch double hockey sticks about this and am "grounded from buying any more"

After a couple days,,,I was still missing it,,So I thought I would stroll on over here to AAPK Just to have a peek at some Great Farmers Jacks because I was missing mine...And what do you know,,,It was a breath of Fresh air to see it again!!! I was so happy I just couldnt help myself but to comment. Oh YES, I know what you mean about the "Better Half" too. Whenever I get a glitter or Miniature knife,,,WATCH OUT BUDDY,,,The Wife and Daughter got their hands out, LOL.

Miller Bros -- Thanks Dimitri,,,I very much appreciate the Kind Words Sir. I do believe the Patina makes the knife is especially true on this one. Knife has not been cleaned in Long Long time.

Mark, that Camillus is still a very nice looking knife.

Picked up this Queen, have been slowly adding these to the collection when I can find them, they really are quite well made.

Boy have I been missing some great knives posted.
Roger's right,I'm getting married May 28th.
John that is a fantastic Bartlett,mine's not etched.You two are acquiring quite a nice collection of those.

Mark those are great knives, that are rare ,who have value to the hard core collector.I have both,the Camillus supposedly coming from the Nilo Miori(sp)collection.

Just a Quick Glance of my Small collection,,,, and I have a Schrade Cut Co on ebay for sale right now that I cannot afford to keep around and Likely I will have 2 sell a couple of these as well. Guys, I can afford to keep the "Junkers" but the Higher end knives I have to sell, Just letting everyone know.

Lyle, that's a fantastic old knife.

One manufacturer I recently acquired:
A small farmers jack at 3 3/4", like my Holley FJ, seems early examples were smaller.
Schatt and Morgan. John , this one might have came from that same building in Titusville as our Queen Titusvilles.

Nice knife Lyle! Ebony has always been one of my favorite handle materials.

Lyle, that S&M is wonderful, such a classy looking jack.

Added a Queen Mastodon ivory a couple weeks ago.

That is one terrific looking knife John. You got one of the best I've seen.

I've only seen about five or six I think, they don't poke their head out often.
