Yes he does, it was offered to me when I showed this one to Mark but we couldn’t find common ground on a price. It’s a beauty for sure!

I recall seeing that Masonic knife in one of Voyles' auctions a while back. I think it was in with a bunch of Sheffield knives.

Well Mike, you and Charles have both been able to enjoy that knife.

Mike those are all crazy nice. The pearl whittler with the double pulls keeps calling me back to it. The five blade speaks back to the origins of NYK co. All special knives for a lot of reasons. Thanks for showing them off and the back story story as well

Mike, those are some outstanding knives

Here are a couple of NYKC dog leg or serpentine jacks I was able to acquire from the Charles Lamb collection. The top one with the spear blade is 3 & 1/2 inches closed and the bottom one with the clip blade is 3 & 3/8 inches closed.

I was able to get this swing guard from Charles' collection. Forum members were most helpful in telling me that it was a somewhat rare pattern. This one has been used but there's a very light, small etch under the nail nick and a pattern number on the tang. John Ferguson took this photo for Charles.

Thanks David, Lloyd, Mike, James and Roger. It certainly helps to be able to ask questions about old knives with some of the knowledgeable people here on the forum. I think it was a mad scramble the first few days when Erik started selling his dad's knives.

Mason sent me this catalog cut of that pattern. Big knife, small etch.

NYKs. Top Wharncliffe whittler is 3 & 1/8” and the large fancy bolster Jack at the bottom is 4 & 3/8 inches.
