Does that blade etch say "Made in Italy" on it? What's the brand? Recognized the antler, guessed the horn.

Right again, sir. That there's a Viper made in Maniago, Italy.
(I tend to like knives that have a "Q" on them for some strange reason)

Dave, that is an impressive spread! The 3 on the left with the Saddlehorn style frame and the larger swedge clip blades caught my eye (especially the Wilbert).

Some of my lockback hunting knives - the Case and the Buck were both used this season to skin and butcher deer. OH

Great lineup, Dave. I'm with RalphAlsip, really like the 3 saddlehorns, especially the Wilbert, beautiful bone.

Just this one is the lockback I carry.

Contrary to what you may have been led to believe, size does not necessarily matter...at least not to this little Al Mar stag lock back! Too cute by half yet still fully as functional as the big boys.

Picked this up today for around $15. Browning, Germany. Lock and release are smooth as silk. Probably going to be a carry knife on and off. ___Dave

I hope that being a newbie nobody minds me just jumping in her and making myself at home. But I love pocket knives and like to talk about them and see and share photos of them. First is a Schrade 7OT next a 5OT and last but not least a Buck Light.

Thanks Gdogg, the buck button is ancient ivory walrus tooth. I cross sectioned and polished it up. Been heavily mineralized from hundreds or thousands of years buried in an Eskimo dump/midden so it has that antler bark look but it's ivory.
