the serrated muskrat should be a standard. adds more use!

beautiful knife. every knife i have seen has been beautiful.

I AM DEFINETLY DOWN FOR A PRE-whatever era. like a 1970 or before type roundtable.

but in that kind of trading folks would have to understand that ones mans trash is anothers treasure.

so i guess for an older knife roundtable ruless like rust free and things like that would have to be set.

unless you prefer rust. i have seen some of you guys take a pile of rust and make it work again!

Recieved my roundtable prize from Orvet the other day, So I made time today to take some pics to post but the pics dont do justice to this beauty, Dale this one goes in the forever keeper section, you are way to kind, Thank You for this Beauty !!

I am glad you like it.
I will tell you a bit about the background of the knife.
It was originally a Colonial fish knife with a shell handle. I liked the shape of the knife, but didn’t like the shell handle. I figured that I could make a frame & bolsters for it. So I kept the blade & back spring and built everything else with a file & belt sander. I used much heavier brass for the liners to make it heavy-duty. I was pleased with the results.
BTW, the handles are snake wood.

I got my knife from keithlong last week. I finally got some pictures. A Hen and Rooster medium congress. He also sent me a stick of cedar and a leather strap tha he had made. I will give it a shot and try to carve something out of the cedar. Thanks Keith!!!!! ::tu::

hey hey hey ... i of course received my roundatble a long time ago....but im not the only person who hasnt posted pics..maybe this will revive it a little

i got a beautiful kabar hawkbill. one of the best in my collection now!!!!!! pics dont do it justice!!!
