That's a beauty! Just my opinion, I like the look of the pile side better than the mark side antler on this one. I often find that when I am choosing stag for a knife, when it is done, I wish I had swapped the pile side and mark side.
Regardless, it looks sweet!

Great Mods everyone!
After seeing all the beautiful knives posted on here, I felt it was time to send ol' Barry a few of my synthetics and such, that I had picked up over the years and were in need of some handle upgrades. I sent him the 6 knives in the first picture and received 5 of them in the mail today. Still waiting on the perfect Mammoth Bark before we do the Cheetah.
Thanks again, Barry, for a job WELL DONE!

BIGHEAD and Midas seem to have a lot in common. Every thing he touches turns to treasure.

Barry is great at what he does! I have not yet seen one of his that is disappointing.
And I know that you are ecstatic to show off those beauties!

GREAT Mammoth mods, Kevin!

Turned those hum-drum synthetic handled knives into works of art worthy of your awesome collection in true rags-to-riches fashion. Barry's got the Midas touch when it comes to making a silk purse out of a sow's ear, that's for sure!
They say a Cheetah never changes its spots, but I can't wait to see your Cheetah dressed up in the "perfect Mammoth Bark"

Thanks guys!!! Appreciate all the great feedback.

Wasn't sure if I would like the Mammoth Tooth Trapper mods as well as the Ivory, but I must admit, they are even nicer than expected and I love them all. May have to round up a couple more Trappers to add a few more colors to my new Mammoth Trapper Sub-Collection. Thanks again Barry.

Although it seems much longer because so much has happened, it's only been three months since The Monkey last pestered BIGHEAD for another knife mod

Earlier this year when I was still planning my Case Dogleg Jack mod with glennbad, Ivoryman sent me a pair of sweet gnarly Amber Stag slabs that he thought might work. They turned out to be too small for that project but fortunately I had another knife that I wanted to modify that was the perfect size. I also had some Amber Stag slabs sitting around that I had gotten from Culpepper's awhile ago just to have on hand for whenever the right knife appeared and inspiration struck. As luck would have it (and in the wake of a very tragic event), the right knife and inspiration converged all at once. So, naturally, I cajoled Barry into doing this double mod job. Not surprisingly, he hit another grand slam home run and, once again, The Monkey is the big winner
