Benchmark is made by the Buffalo trace distillery that is owned by Sezarac, at one time Seagrams own the trademark and the bourbon was made at the Four Roses distillery. It seems that a lot off whiskeys like a lot of knives are contracted out. MGP ingredients located in Lawrenceburg Indiana, a distillery that's been in operation for around a 170 years is probably the equivalent of Camillus in the knife world.( also once owned by Seagrams) They make a bunch of bourbon and especially rye whiskeys that have someone else's name on them, some being Bulliet 95 rye, George Dickel rye and James E. Pepper 1776 rye. Greenbrier distillery Bell Meade bourbon is sourced from there also as is many other small brands.

My first bottle of Elijah Craig Small Batch. The Schatt & Morgan knife started out as a Heritage Series Cattlleman until Glennbad made it into a single blade for me.

How about a Benchmark knife($1.99) with a ceramic blade to go with a dang near half of a gallon of Benchmark bourbon ($21) Both pretty doggone sharp.

BigHomer, your pictures showed many of my favorites. In no particular order, most anything from Markers Mark and Jack Daniels, Angels Envy, Larceny, Elijah Craig. I prefer wheated bourbons so Bulleit is out as it is a high rye mash bill. My little hometown distillery even makes one that is quite drinkable. Iowa grows corn, corn makes whiskey.

Another value brand that's hard to beat at any price point, pictured with a Ky bucket special. One of these are the real deal and I ain't telling.

Anyone ever try this? They didn't have Yellowstone so I thought I'd give it a try. Banana flavored bourbon, might be an interesting mixer too.

The Benchmade auto is my EDC. The Sinatra was a “feeling sorry for myself” pandemic purchase. I had a couple pours several years ago at a high end hotel bar in Nashville so I knew it was good stuff.

Hope you got it at retail, it has a pretty good mark up on the whiskey secondary market. WE complain about the flippers of CEC knives but check out what some ask for booze. It ridiculous.
