Quite a range of vintage British knives being shown here. Seems many of us have a few tucked away in our collection.
Here is another 4 blade Senator, 3 3/8" Wostenholm Sheffield England, half sunk joints. I think this was made after WW I and before WW II.
And a 3 1/8" Sleeveboard pen, "Vulcan/T.Ellin & Co". No "England" so i might be an oldie.

And here is a 3 3/8 " ivory equal end whittler marked: "IXL/George/Wostenholm/Celebrated/Cutlery". No "Sheffield" on this one.
Not sure how old but definitely from 1800's.

Nice ones Roland! I especially like that Vulcan with the fancy bolsters. And the I*XL has an unusual shaped pen blade next to the master blade.

This nice Joseph Rodgers showed up today, 3 3/8" jack with pretty nice horn handles, marked Cutlers To His Majesty.

These may be just shy of "Antique". A set of six Sheffield-made butter knives from the late 40's-early 50's. Nicely fitted solid mahogany block. They were made for and imported by Hutzler Brothers Department store in downtown Baltimore. The best store in town back then. Probably like a lot of gift items, they may never have been used. Folks don't seem to have any use for things like this anymore. Too nice to chuck out. J.O'.

Tea Time !
"Tea" is served at either 3 pm or 4 pm depending upon family tradition. In addition to a pot of fresh tea, there is fresh bread, butter, jam and or marmalade and usually some cheese. One needs a knife to spread the butter and jam (or marmalade), so there are "Tea Knives".
Here is a set of 6 Tea knives made by Jos. Rodgers, Cutlers to His Majesty. The handles are ivory carved in a pattern called "Tulip".
