Just found out this one is legit. WWI Union Cut.Co. "Navy Knife". Thought it might have been "diddled" with but it's good. Bail is gone, Manicure blade is double stamped. Kinda cool.

J.O'.
Ridge, thatβs a great piece, neat double stamp. Thatβs a great example of the old Rope knife, just think of where that one might of been !
Thanks for posting that , another great example of a EO.
Stay warm .

I just came across this thread and boy, have I ever been missing out! You guys are posting some truly gorgeous examples, thanks for showing all of them to us! I only own these 2, a 9" Russell Green River, and my nifty little 6 3/8" Taylor Cutlery "Elk Horn", but man, do I like em'! 8)WIN_20210217_12_34_04_Pro.jpgWIN_20210217_12_34_26_Pro.jpg

My only EZ openers, both nearly identical Imperials, one with bone, and one with black composition. The bail is shaped somewhat differently on these two also.

Some of the ones I've managed to find, really like them if they have a fat spear.
