I suspect my friend, and this is only my opinion, that the knife pictured may just be an advertising photo. Just my opinion though.

You may be right. I've never made a knife but a one bladed jack would seem to be simpler to get right than a multi blade, and jacks are like by most folks.
Seems it would be a good one to get the ball rolling so to speak.

Could be mop (mother of toilet seat), looks that way from here.
Sure would be nice, if they are planning on producing them with real pearl.

I won't be playing any of those games either, I'll probably catch a little grief, but my bottom line is a knife is just a knife, it may bring us some chickeneyeing, coonfringering pleasure, but it's a tool first and foremost. YMMV.

I spoke to Gilbert a couple weeks ago. I reached out about a different subject but he did talk a little about his plans and where they were at. Seems like he is working very hard to get up and running. Aside from sounding real tired he was excited about getting up and going. He has built a new building on his property and using old equipment from Queen. I can’t wait to support this guy and it’s not because I need another knife. Whatever pattern he comes out with it won’t be from another country.

Can't very well judge the execution on these which will of course be critical. As for appearance, I do like the fixed blades in the first photo. I think the spearpoint folder in the second to last photo looks quite original. Am looking forward to their release when we learn all the details. (esp. price)
