The 685 is your Imperial - I've got the same one in 'stagged' and there was also a toilet seat version with a blue steer head.
Skip I'm gonna stretch one more time here for a cool old Schrade that is virtually unknown even amongst hardcore collectors. The 291 trapper was known as the 'Grizzly Bear' and this one still has the blade etch.

This one is less of a stretch than the "flesh" one. We're barely hanging on by a thread, but still on point.

Here's an oldie:An Aerial Cutlery Co. coke bottle hunter.The other handle was completely destroyed but this one stayed relatively intact and has not deteriorated.

Factoid. If anyone has a Weidmannsheil, the stag imprint meant the knife was for German sale while a boar imprint meant it was intended for sale in Austria.

Just yesterday I was giving some thought to acquiring that BD fixed blade. Decided against (for now) because there was no sheath offered.

QS, I see them with sheaths but never at a price I'm willing to pay. The only two I have are the ones from Japan. Some of those from Germany are really beautiful knives though.

I got this Imperial "steer head" jack knife yesterday.
