Roger, Chris and Larry. Nice knives. ::tu::

What a beauty, Larry. So clean. I've never seen a square shield on a Case knife or any knife for that matter.
What a looker! ::tu::

Beautiful Case Zipper. ::tu::

I assume that is the release button for a spring-loaded blade.

Allow me to pile on more kudos to the Zipper!
::tu::

Thanks for the complements on the Winchester. I thought I did rather well .....

BUT ... sadly my inner magpie got the better of me .. again .. :(
The beautiful bone, walk, talk, and snap and the shape of the blades
caused me to overlook a serious flaw.

The main blade is cracked just above the tang, all the way through and across the spine.
::dang:: ::facepalm:: ::dang::

I even had my pocket magnifier out to look at the tang stamp and did not see the crack.

Fortunately I did not pay a lot for the knife. It wasn't even the most $$ of the three.
Does not help me feel any less idiotic though ............... [/color]

Larry, that Zipper is a beaut - glad you finally got one. ::tu::

That may be the first one of that pattern I’ve seen here. I know LT has posted a Zipper clasp before but unless there is a 61050 like yours in that old post, I haven’t seen another. Rare knives in any case.

Ken

Edit: LT did post one viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10901&p=90062&hilit=Zipper#p90062

Thank you Ken, LT’s is a beauty. I’ve only seen pictures of them until the show.
The down side to getting the knife is I had to trade a bunch of my Greenbones to afford it.

Chris, that's a bummer! :( Boy when you blow the picture up it really shows up. Maybe the red and the green Case knives will sooth your nerves. ::hmm::
