Thanks. How many of his have you seen? I"ve seen his catalog, but never seen one up for sale. The three I have are from him directly and it took 6 months to a year each to wait for him to make another. I ordered another EZ open he does with a Zulu blade profile instead of his regular spear. He then had to go in for ankle surgery and I don't know if he's making knives again or not. Haven't heard. He said he's make it eventually, but not holding my breath. These three are excellent knives for sure. Nothing wrong with them and crown jewels of my little pile obviously. Thanks again. I never see his stuff around here and would love to see another. Bring 'em out if you have 'em.

Ivoryman I usually see him when I set up at the Blade Show in Atlanta . He's From Winston Salem NC if my memory serves me right about 15 year ago I did their Local Club show and Tim was There . I bought my first at a Gun Show in Atlanta the second one was at Blade . His price's rage from about $300.00 all the way to $1800.00 . He learned the Trade from Blackie Collins , Tim Mustin & Frank Centofante from what I've read. I have A Centofante that I will show Tomorrow

Love to see it. Wow, jealous. You got to meet him. I've only emailed him, never met. Did not know where he learned from, Blackie Collins and Frank Centofante. Very interesting. I think you're right, Tobacco city N.C. Do you mean the blade show in Atlanta? I've thought about trying to make that show. That or the Rendezvous in PA. Bucket list maybe someday. Thanks for the info, fascinates me anyway.

Knife By Frank Centofante was the President of the Knife Makers Guild Made Knives from 1960 untill his death in 2009
Frank had 3 marks on his knives
(1st) Centofante Tampa Florida
(2nd) Centofante Tampa FLA.
(3Rd) Centofante Madisonville Tennessee
He was taught by his Father who worked for imperial for 60+ years , & his Sons Mark & Tony
If someone can add or correct my info please do so. He also Helped Tim Britton from what I have read .

Not a custom knife, but while we're on the subject of Frank Centofante...here's a design he did for Kershaw in collaboration with ken Onion.

The Tim Brittons and that Frank Centofante are all exquisite knives...just gorgeous.

All of these knives are showing wonderful patterns and workmanship.

Evan Esnyx makes custom traditionals that are incredible, and while this is not all his, he customized/modded this GEC TC Barlow. New bolsters and stag/pins. One of a kind now.

From 1970 to 1992 Mark was W. D. Pease from 1992 forward it was W.D. Pease Kentucky

See if I can keep this going : Next one is a Ray Cover not sure if it's Ray Cover SR or JR not much info out there just that they make a very fine slip joint . Correct me if I'm wrong Looks Like Ray Sr was a gun smith & Knife maker & Ray Jr is a knife maker & engraver . Please add to this .

I wonder if he's still making knives? He was 83 yrs old when he made my Dr. knife back in 2011 !!
