Yes, indeed, nice mini Ts, jerryd. I especially like the marine corps emblem stamped on the bolster of your blue 07. I'm not usually a big fan of extra cosmetic embellishment, but that's a nice touch; very classy.jerryd6818 wrote:I've shown these a couple of other places but they belong here as well. Thank you ~Q~. The nice part of it is it's stamped and not etched. Fairly deeply stamped at that. That was a pleasant surprise.QTCut5 wrote:Yes, indeed, nice mini Ts, jerryd. Oh, you mean like "pre-ripped" designer jeans? Which, BTW, I've actually seen for sale for hundreds of dollars (complete with dirt, grass and greasy oil stains...blood stains cost extra!). Now that is funny...and also very sad.jmh58 wrote:jerryd6818 wrote:Thanks John but you know me. They're just for lookin' and I'll never carry them but I'll look 'em into being pocket worn.![]()

Glass houses, jerryd...I'm just the same as you...I carry one knife (Kershaw Chill) and never change my EDC...I even have a brand new Chill still in the hard plastic clamshell for when my current EDC Chill eventually wears out. I'm about as cantankerous a curmudgeon as they come, my friend. "Pocket worn" is what my 35 year old jeans are that I still wear every day.jerryd6818 wrote:Go ahead ~Q~, cry me a river.I'm not one for change so I'll just carry the same one all the time, thank you very much.

It would appear that my boy ~Q~ can't deal with cantankerous old goats.
Sounds like we belong in the matched pair thread.QTCut5 wrote:Glass houses, jerryd...I'm just the same as you...I carry one knife (Kershaw Chill) and never change my EDC...I even have a brand new Chill still in the hard plastic clamshell for when my current EDC Chill eventually wears out. Yep...separate houses, though. I'm a lone wolf hermit curmudgeon who can't stand other people in my space (wife included). Sound familiar?jerryd6818 wrote:Sounds like we belong in the matched pair thread.![]()

Looks like you got yourself a keeper there, Hatch, and you'll probably want to hang on to that sweet Amber Bone Cap Lifter Mini Trapper as well!HatchetKnot wrote:Here is my newest that my wife just bought me for my 30th birthday a couple weeks ago.
My daughter bought the same knife (only yellow Delrin® handles) for my birthday two and a half weeks ago. It's slicker'n snot on a door knob. Love it.HatchetKnot wrote:Here is my newest that my wife just bought me for my 30th birthday a couple weeks ago.
does anyone know why it turns the picture sideways like that when attached? When clicked it opens the correct way?
Thank you! She is pretty special. She also bought me a NIB medium stockman that was made in 1987 to go along with it. I couldn't have been happier!QTCut5 wrote:Looks like you got yourself a keeper there, Hatch, and you'll probably want to hang on to that sweet Amber Bone Cap Lifter Mini Trapper as well!HatchetKnot wrote:Here is my newest that my wife just bought me for my 30th birthday a couple weeks ago.![]()

This one is incredibly slick and sharp also. The cap lifter is incredibly handy for many tasks also. Thank you for the information. I'll have to look into it. Still trying to figure out how to post pictures from other photo hosting sights also since Photobucket is no longer usable.jerryd6818 wrote:My daughter bought the same knife (only yellow Delrin® handles) for my birthday two and a half weeks ago. As for images posting in the incorrect orientation, read this ---> viewtopic.php?f=98&t=50431
That thread is in the "Tips & Tricks Forum" ---> viewforum.php?f=98
The [/img] feature used to post pictures from photo hosting sights such as Photobucket was disabled over a year ago by the owner of AAPK. He (Bryan) wants all pictures to be uploaded and stored on AAPK so they will show up in posts for as long as AAPK still exists. His intent is that AAPK be a research source and it can't fulfill that role completely if photo storage sites go away or change policies or accounts are no longer active and the images are no longer available as we're seeing happen now with Photobucket.HatchetKnot wrote: Thank you for the information. Currently the only available way to post pictures is to upload them directly to AAPK. We have been assured there is plenty of storage space on AAPK for images.
