GEEEEEEEE this Crown Royal is making me happy... ::nod::

So I feel I am brave enough to night to show you all proof I was at the Queen's Factory.

Can you guess which one is me ???

Looks like I had a bad day but not really it was a very good day.

I just missed my nap time...so much to see. I was real worn out.

That's a great picture Ken, you look like you were made for show business, that would make a good sales picture.

Thanks for sharing,

I am not sure but I think this is one of the Acrylic OPEN HOUSE knives.

If I am wrong please correct me.

I saw so many knives that week end my head is still spinning.

My pocket book is still spinning too yet...

He has a RED acrylic up as well Ken.

He has had a lot of GEC knives. I got a River Valley GREEN Scout (#004) from him recently.

From what I've seen the ones with a reserve were at $140.00, far cry from the first one he listed and offered me at $180.00, no thanks.

Maybe he misinterpreted what the market was willing to pay? ::shrug::

I would certainly agree that $180 sounds well, ah, dear. ::nod::

He states ; "Limited production of only 71 total. The knife is numbered OH 22. Each of the 71 is a different color"

GEE that's not quite true. I think it was more like 10 or more of one color.

That would make it 7 colors...

He did not say that the handles are made of Acrylic.

Makes me wounder ... ::paranoid::

Here is his Wine Red one

I have one too...

Don't know the lowdown on all the acrylic colors, but here is the 2007 GREEN Scout I got.....a nice knife, IMO.

Edit: Actually, this is the first one I got...#003. Sorry.

Those are pretty darn nice knives Bill, the River Valley Green (RVG) is a real nice green, IMO. Is that a transition knife, has 2006 and 2007 on the tang of the spey blade.

Howdy Hukk.

Well, somewhat unfortunately I guess, neither of mine are the transition knives. Did they make the smaller one with transition blades? I have bid on one of the larger patterns with the 2006/2007 blades...but alas ::mdm:: ...no joy for me. ::huff::

Now, I hope no one faints  ...but this is a nice meaty knife with some guts, and I'm thinking about actually using one of these for its intended purpose. ::hmm::

I know...but I may not be able to help myself. ::doh::

Ooops! Need my coffee, that's a #73, the transition was the larger #23. I have a couple EDC's in my GEC's. A Bocote and a RVG both in the 73 pattern. I do get a lot of whoa, where did you get that knife? By those that see you using them or showing them, they do garner a lot of attention. ::tu:: ::tu:: I EDC 2007 knives, not the 2006.
