Sweet! Looking forward to introducing violet to the fish dock! Perfect timing too beings as I'm on knife buying restriction at the moment due to lack of funds. At least I'll have a reason to check the mail now.

Violet came in the mail today. I must say, what a slick knife! I love a single spring knife and it feels great in the pocket. She's coming to work with me tomorrow. Pics to follow.

I've been carrying violet around with me for a few days now. I liked her as soon as I opened the package, after a few days of carrying and using I love her! She's definitely easy on the eyes and sits well in my pocket. I feel right at home with this knife as it's around the same size as what I normally carry. I haven't put her through any heavy duty test yet but that's coming tonight. Working all night on the fish dock so we'll se how she does. I did use her to mend one of my nets and she performed perfectly. Did I mention that I love this knife?

Well, as bad as I hate to, I guess I'll keep the pass going and send violet to dale. Thank you Glenn for doing this pass, you built one fine knife sir! Extremely functional and looks great! What more can be said? Violet is really my kind of knife. Big enough to get the job done and feels great in the pocket. I love the blade shape and the action as well. Great knife! Here's a pic of a mackerel she made short work of at work the other night. Coming your way dale. Thanks again Glenn. Violet is welcome down here ANYTIME!

Violet arrived in Oregon this evening. She is a looker, but smelled a bit fishy.
No time for pics yet, but she opened a couple letters tonight and a package of cookies.
Pics tomorrow!

I have had my week with Violet, she has not seen much action, but I have been out of action myself with some oral surgery and a family emergency.
About the only action Violet was to make quick work of some cardboard for recycling.
She is on the way Old Hunter as even as I type this.
Violet is well-made and rock solid. The blade dynamics make her good for heavy-duty cutting. I test my edges on small rolls of old jean material and she worked very nicely with clean cuts.
I had my time and even though I didn't do a lot of cutting with her, she rode nicely in my watch pocket. She is very easy to carry! Time to send her on though.
Old Hunter; knife inbound!
Good Bye Violet. Stay sharp!
Ouch, I couldn't help myself!

Glennbad's knife (Glennbad, brother of Sinbad??) came from Dale Orvet in yesterday's mail. I was out on one of the farms working when it arrived back in town - so I didn't get to try it out on work chores at the farm. I have carried it since I opened it up yesterday; so far it has been to the hospital twice (on visits - I haven't cut myself with it yet!!) It went to Sunday School and Church this morning - for a long knife it carries nicely in the LFP of my dress slacks due to the thin nature of the single spring design and the slim, blue handles (very nice blue handles by the way). I am carrying it in my the LFP of my summer shorts right now - carries nicely there too. It will be with me when I coach baseball later this evening. I definitely plan to cut some gypsum wallboard with it this coming week, and whatever else comes up - I'll report as I go - it is a nice knife. OH
