i acctually do , but they dont have alot of Meat to them ,,,,big pits . however ,,,they are tropically tasty

wanted to add this pic. hubertus and 2 frank beltrame

I only ever had one cheap China Switch. The little dude had good snap but that was about all it had going. I have a Boker Automat Kalishnikov that had every clue that it could be auto. But no spring.
I cobbed one up but wasn't paying attention and when I tried to close it it broke the scale where the pivot comes through. I JB Welded it all together as a fixed blade.

I'd very much like to have a switch blade. But as usual I can't rub two nickles together.

Here is my Hunters Pride. I am so fortunate to find one in this beautiful shape. The only thing is the "Hunters Pride" etching on the blade is gone. Ill post some more automatics, I have a nice collection. I did not realize this topic was here. Thank you.

Here is a Presto Paratrooper with bone handles. I also have a set of the "Brain Plastic" they changed to for the cost saving. I love this little gem and it fires with authority.

Very nice and glad to see some life here . Not sure if you know but the 2nd from the top is actually a fairly scarce knife . it is a small framed Schrade Cut co. with the black plastic handles ( Rare ) most were Schrade Walden stamped with those handles .

Thank you my friend, I will keep posting I love this forum. Here are a few Hubertus and Bertram Shot Puller and a Puma. Note if you enlarge the Hubertus on the bottom is W. Germany. Pretty Cool. These lever patterns are so nice, I guess that's why so many company's have manufactured them. The stag is so beautiful and "Chunky" on these patterns, actually looks like it is right off the deer's rack. Wish I had a Case, but that is a dream. No automatic collection would be complete without these lever knives. Thank you for letting me share some pictures.

Why do you say the shell puller is a Bertram?
Bertram never made autos.
Do you have a picture of the markings?

The shot puller is stamped Bertram unless it is a contract knife ?? But I will check it out and post some close ups. As soon as I can I will get those pictures up - thanks for the interest brother maybe there is something here I am going to learn.

The only 2 I have right now and I sure do like them both. I carry the Levrletto a lot.

Bill, you designed a great little knife when you did the work on the Levrletto. The blade grind and action is as good as any I have ever had. You get 2 thumbs up from me buddy on it.

Bill- I am sorry it took so long to get back to you I was in New York visiting my 90 year old mother for her birthday !! I just got back to San Diego and took this picture of the Bertram. If you click on the picture and make it larger you will see "BERTRAM" over SOLIGEN. I hope this helps but if you know something that I do not please let me know. I have tried to find info about this knife and there is very little out there. I would greatly appreciate any info you may know. Thanks

According to A. G. Russell, former owner of C. Bertram (Hen & Rooster) knives, C. Bertram never made or contracted automatics.
That leaves:
Carl Bertram, a pre WW2 German cutler.
Or, Eduard Bertram-alsp pre WW2.
It appears your knife was actually made by Bontgen & Sabin, under contract.

This is a picture of my Automatic Collection. Its a good start. But I got that Flylock Double in Honeyswirl Amerith (bottom left corner) from Philco in the mail today !! Great knife and thanks a lot Phil !!
In addition I also received that black Schrade Cut. Co. 4-7/8th inch. today also (third from bottom right). I believe that this Schrade Cut. Co. stamp is a little rarer than the Schrade Walden stamp.
