Great collection!
I don't recall ever seeing anything but brass guards on a Woodcraft knives. Your guard is also much thicker than normal. I would think that this could have been a premium or even reflect a shortage of material. Who knows what they did back in the day? Are you sure the guard is steel and not nickel silver? Maybe someone else has seen Woodcraft or other early Marbles knives with other than brass guards.
Don't have one yet soooo.. Maybe I need to fix that!!!
