I am now doing this post and am trying not to drop it into the bit bucket by pushing wrong button again.
Happy to see your post with the Cutco, I have always wondered if my sheath was correct and I guess you answered the question. Have had several Cutco's over the years and never used one. Mostly stuck with Kershaw, Gerber, Western or Case.
Just looking around and see I am out of storage room and have resorted to cardboard boxes, I better sell some stuff or die a hoarder.
One of my oldest twin Grandsons came home on leave from South Korea. He is a small arms specialist. Had a big Prime Rib that was enjoyed by all, I cut it with an over a hundred year old Henckels. A few swipes with a slick were all that was necessary. I prefer now a days to do my shootin' with a different sort of device although I just picked up a nice 50 some year old Remington 760 in .270 that I would like to try. Enough for now as I just took a break from taking a Hemlock out of my side yard and got to finish up.

I have a couple more Cutco`s kicking around, some are still in the original box

Thought I would bring this subject forward for one I just picked up an hour or so ago. Had never seen a critter such as this with the old Marbles bone stag appearing handle. Definitely a well embellished Hunting Knife, It is an Ontario Knife. The photo's say it all. Nice cutter. wb

These are my drop-point skinners. The first one (green handles) was made for me as a surprise by a buddy who got into making knives after he retired, he has since passed away. The second one is the first (and only) custom knife I own, bought it at a gunshow from a local maker named Russ Sutton about 15-16 years ago. The Marbles was purchased at SMKW in August 2003 as a gift to myself upon returning from OIF, it has been my regular deer skinner ever since. I bought the Randall from a buddy last year, it is new and will skin its first deer this fall.

Here's a few Westerns I keep at camp for when the stragelers come up to hunt

nice knives everybody here is one that i made for a soilder to take over seas with him when he got shipped out the blade is made from a old saw blade and the handels is buffalo horn and black walnut and brass pine notice the pins i tried to make a cross without anybody thinking it was a cross cause they had probelms with that and the brass spacer was a old 7.62 rifel shell that i split flattened and cut into shape the knife held up good for him i just took the pic yesterday after it was over seas for about a year and its still as sharp as a razer and it was made rite here in good old tennessee

orve and hunter thanks for the compliments the feller i made it for was verry emotional when i gave it to him he said that it helped him cope with being over there cause mine and my wifes initials on the tang and he thought of us everyday i was proud to make it for him for serving our country proud

There's no way I'd sell all those knives as a group. (Great looking bunch BTW)

The sheer volume will eliminate 99% of potential buyers and what you will be left with is those wanting to pay wholesale prices so they can resell them individually at a profit.

That's my opinion. That and a dollar will still get you a cup of joe some places.
