I have never seen a knife like "Le Mouflon" from the previous page. Rather unique and therefore special knife.
And the Stag Wostenholm Horsemans' knife is Fantastic: blades in very good condition and the best Stag ever ! Most of the ones i have or have seen are very beat up including broken off blades. This 'Wostie' is a top example.

Here are some pics and a description of the previously pictured knives.I've added a couple to the mix.Many of them are not in the greatest of shape but it was impossible to let a multi-blade knife with so much character go by the wayside.To me they are as nice as mint condition knives(well....almost).I will post both sides of the knives and also a shot of the backs which can be quite fancy.
First up is one marked,"A(star)1 Tyler Celebrated Cutlery Germany.BRL dates this 1866-1890.
The next three are Adolph Kastor & Sons in different configurations.
Last is a tiny Brookes & Crookes England.

An 8 blade congress by H.W.Mason Sheffield.Pretty much relic condition but how could I pass up an 8 blade knife?
A J.A.Henckels horn handled multi-blade.
A metal handled Henckels with a hunting scene embossed on one side.
An unmarked horn handled multiblade probably made by Kastor.

Page three
A Miller Brothers multiblade.
A Vom Cleff 3 blade with locking master blade released by pushing down on the manicure blade on the spine.
A W.H.Morley many blade including an aluminum comb.
A Vulcan Germany 4 blade with tortoise shell handles.
The backs of some of the knives with fancy file blades.

Ray, as always you have an interesting variety of multiblade knives to show us. I'm sure these are just a few of what you have collected. My multiblades are much like the ones you show: evidence of use ++ along with some trauma to handles or blades. What this shows is that 100 or more years ago people actually carried and used these rather fancy knives and used them a lot.
Other than the 4 blade Utility pattern (aka "Scout knife") i doubt any of use ever carry a true multiblade type knife. Society has changed enough that there is no longer a need to have such a variety of blades on hand all the time, or ever really.

This is the "Picnic Companion" Made in Sheffield circa 1900. Blade, fork, tin opener, and corkscrew.

The John Watts is a very smart knife.

A Victorian smoker's knife Made by Christopher Johnson late 1800s. Has a pipe tamper, cigar cutter, pricker etc.

The Kastor multiblade might have been made by Henckels based on those handles.
Very nice Smoker's knife S.K. You always show us very fine old Sheffield knives.
