Two that I have pictures of, Toe Nail and nice little Pearl. The toe has a crack
showing it was actually missing a piece my friend made a patch for it. The
pearl is nice The picture on pearl should enlarge to see etch. Could not find
picture of mark side of toe.

I have seen this knife in my Grandpa's fishing toolbox since I can remember, and I am 52 now. It keeps a wonderful edge and has a snap to the 90 degree position and another clean snap into the fully open position. It is over 5 inches closed, and just under 10 inches when open. It shows model number 063, but I don't know if they labeled a name with the model number. I happened onto this thread and thought I would add to the wonderful knives showcased here. Thanks for sharing all your great photos!

Welcome here.
What a beauty of a knife. The 90 degree position is called a half stop.
Your Grandfather kept it in very good condition. Usually fishing knives don't look that good.
No doubt you treasure it.

Hey Thanks for the warm welcome. I have so many different knives (Buck, Case, Smith & Wesson non-folding skinner, Victorinox - at least 13 of these, Western, Sharp, Kershaw Amphibian non-folding, Schrade, Winchester Boy Scout - circa 1940, KA-BAR 3-in-1 Hobo set with fork, spoon, and lock back knife which all separate, Rapala) that I can't keep track of all of them, and especially where they all are located!
http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... 35&t=18739#
I'll try to put up some photos of them later on, when I round them all up. Not sure which thread to post them under though. Some are folding, others are larger with sheathes. And don't even get me started on Kitchen Knives like Gerber, Case, Henckles and Messermeister. Sheesh!
Thanks again for the welcome.

Didn't see any fixed blades posted so I dug this one out and took a couple pics.Don't know who made it for them(possibly Utica)but it has nice bone scales and a tapered tang even though the blade has been shortened quite a bit.Might have been an Outer's pattern originally as the blade is a bit wide for a standard hunter.Picked it up for a couple dollars awhile back.

Received this Grand Dad Barlow yesterday. I was surprised at the size of it when I pulled it out of the box.

Nice knife, John. You mentioned how you were surprised at how large it was when you pulled it out of the box. How large is this knife?

5" long closed, 9" open, here it is next to a normal Barlow.

Found this recently in an antique place. Other than needing a good cleaning, it's in fine shape. Any ideas on age? Any opinions on manufacturer. It does have milled liners.

Wonderful knives all.
Welcome Markstar, that is a REALLY fine old knife from your grandpa. Thanks for sharing it!
Dirtyfonzie, those are in great shape. Gotta love that pick bone
Greetings Ribbit. That looks to be Camillus made. Goins' lists True Value from 1930-1959.

..k7k, that looks identical to 2 of my old Camillus fixed blades(handle shape, pin placement, guard and blade)- I think the blade is just worn down.....both mine have rogers bone and are 4 line stamped(1914-1941) .....
