It feels like we're in a real battle these days besides just health at our age; our nation seems to be in a battle also. I think it's a spiritual battle for the heart and soul of the American people. There is so much vitriol and hatred on the media & social media directed towards anyone who holds a different idea that insults, cursing, lies and utter falsehoods have become stock and trade of the media and others as well today. And I think that applies to both sides of the political spectrum.

I firmly believe God has called Believers to hold one another up in prayer. The Bible clearly teaches this; but I believe it also teaches that we are to lift up our nation and the leaders of our nation in prayer, (whether we agree with them or not).

I have personally witnessed God answer prayers in the most spectacular ways and I have seen him answer prayers in an incredibly slow way. I have seen people I have prayed for become Believers 10 or 15 years after I had prayed for them. I am also witnessed miraculous answers to prayer.

Some people are called to preach to the vast audiences through television or in great Crusades in sports arena, other are call to labor unnoticed and unrewarded (by the world) in foreign countries. Often they are killed for their efforts. People are call to things great and things small but all believers are called to one most important duty: PRAY! That is our divinely appointed duty.

It looks like it has been awhile since anyone joined in. I would be blessed to have my name on the list and anytime I can provide a prayer of joy or a prayer of comfort I would be glad to do so. The one thing we are all joined together by is our Creator and by the free gift of Salvation He offers us all.
