You have Ken. Many of my photos are repeats. My theory is that many will have not seen knives that were shown previously. In addition to those who missed there are always new members joining in. I may be all wet, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That's perfect logic, Garry, and I'm sure appreciated by many members, so keep-on clickin'! ::tu::
I haven't commented on some of the knives you've been posting, it's hard keeping up with all the posts from everyone, but suffice to say they're all gorgeous examples of fine cutlery and reflect your good taste.

As always you are very generous Marco. Yes, I agree with so many fine knives and photos being shown it is hard to keep up.

Well I know some cowboy in OK knapped the agate blade, got it for $16 online. Got the antler from Oregon Antler works. Put them together in my shop in spare time with some liquid nails and fake sinew and this is the finished product. The agate lets the light through and has great color. Thanks again. Couple more pics on the "Knife Photography" thread page 563.

I have shown these several times but I always get a kick out of them. This is the famous Ontario/Bill Bagwell collaboration. Mr.Bagwell literally wrote the book on Bowies. These well-made models have multiplied many times in value, above all the Hell's Belle. [2nd up from the bottom] This is arguably the finest Bowie knife design ever created for fighting. Amazingly fast handling. Of course, knife duels have long disappeared along with Riverboat gamblers.

For those of you who may own a Cold Steel Bowie, the late Mr. Bagwell spoke very highly of them.

Could we please see the model in the bottom row/far left/white handle/spear-point tan sheath, out of it's sheath? Thx!

Gary, that is a very interesting collection of smaller fixed blades. I suspect it is an uncommon collection.

Definitely will cut. Worked for the Native Americans for thousands of years. Bit more jagged than steel and brittle so they break easier, but functional if used right and taken care of.

Thanks, Ivory. Sounds similar to a serrated blade.
