Catching up on my forum reading and noticed your old broke Case.knifegnome wrote: βSun Jan 09, 2022 1:14 am Picked up a Case XX 6265 SAB Red bone.Strong snap, does have a crack that runs across front handle.
WOW! Pristine!!
Beautiful find! Congrats Buddy!toomanyknives wrote: βThu Jan 13, 2022 6:41 pm Just received this 1978 Case 6383. I collect knives from 1978 as it was the year I graduated High School, and had really gotten into collecting.
This one is just like I like them, great snap on all blades, no wobble at all, no cracks, full blades, but some wear and patina. I cleaned it up just
a bit, and gave it a good oiling. I love a good "Case Queen" (pun intended) as much as the next guy, but then I never carry them, so this one is
just right. In the pocket it goes! And, I actually got what I think was a pretty good deal considering how much these have gone up. Another bonus
is that it's bone, as a lot of the knives in '78 were delrin.
Thanks so much, Tom!TPK wrote: βFri Jan 14, 2022 8:46 pmBeautiful find! Congrats Buddy!toomanyknives wrote: βThu Jan 13, 2022 6:41 pm Just received this 1978 Case 6383. I collect knives from 1978 as it was the year I graduated High School, and had really gotten into collecting.

Another spectacular beauty!
That has some mean sexy curves and lines. The color too. Wow is that a sweeeeeeet one.
Thanks '67...
Here are pics. Has been in my pocket every day since it arrived, to the detriment of the other knives in my collection. LOLZ. I really like the size (fits in bottom of pocket very well, not too small and nice weight), the βtaperedβ thickness of the bone scales, and the center XX stamp bolster. With Tony passing away in November 2020, it strikes me as a nice βtributeβ of sorts to someone so influential to Case and to the community at large to have been released in β21. Something about it makes it a perfect βfidgetβ knife (for me) as well when Iβm bored on a conference call. Now if Case would release one in burnt indigo bone, Iβd be drooling again!jmh58 wrote: βSun Jan 02, 2022 1:24 pmThank You..SaintAuggie wrote: βSun Jan 02, 2022 7:04 amLove that teardrop! Beautiful knife! I like the blue as well. The Russlock pattern has me intrigued. Itβs functional, fugly (in a crested duck kind of good way), & fun. I probably need to handle one to see how I like the ergos, overall.toomanyknives wrote: βSat Jan 15, 2022 7:00 pm My lovely wife picked this one up for me the other day just because she thought I needed another blue knife! You've gotta' love a woman that thinks like that! NOS Navy Blue Russlock from 2018..

Ha! I know what you mean. Once you get used to handling them, they are pretty easy to use. When open, they fit the hand well. It likes being carried in a sheath more than the pocket. I don't have but a couple of them, but I'm glad I have them.SaintAuggie wrote: βMon Jan 17, 2022 3:23 pmBeautiful knife! I like the blue as well. The Russlock pattern has me intrigued. Your wife sounds wonderful! Mine is amazing as well, but sheβs more likely to give me an eye roll than a new knife when the topic of pocketknives comes up!![]()
Very nice!1967redrider wrote: βWed Apr 10, 2013 1:19 am I just picked these two up at the Harrisonburg show for a price I couldn't refuse. 1974 6111 1/2L and an XX 6217 loom fixer.
Got a question, do you think the XX 6217 is bone or red bone? Both are unsharpened but the loom fixer does have a little spider web on the back of the main blade, no biggie though. Thanks for your thoughts!
