You should consider a Midwest road trip. We can all provide targets and we can try it too.Steve Warden wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 12:42 am Thanks guys.
While having to wait to pick it up is bad enough, once I get it, the wait for the range to open so I can shoot it is going to be even worse!!!
Though I grew up Air Force and Becky grew up Army, then we did 20 years Air Force ourselves, neither one of us have spent any time out west.thankgod4rkids wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 4:57 pm You should consider a Midwest road trip. We can all provide targets and we can try it too.![]()

Steve I would move to Jackson Hole if I could afford it. Our absolute favorite place.Steve Warden wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 5:55 pmThough I grew up Air Force and Becky grew up Army, then we did 20 years Air Force ourselves, neither one of us have spent any time out west.thankgod4rkids wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 4:57 pm You should consider a Midwest road trip. If finances and our budget can go as planned, we want to take a trip out that way is a few years. Right now the destination is Jackson Hole, WY. That may change as we continue to research places to go and things to do, but we're really looking forward to it.
Maybe we can meet up with a few of you guys!
Bill that is a wonderful idea! If you travel through KY I’ll provide a range to try it out!Steve Warden wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 5:55 pmThough I grew up Air Force and Becky grew up Army, then we did 20 years Air Force ourselves, neither one of us have spent any time out west.thankgod4rkids wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 4:57 pm You should consider a Midwest road trip. I've been contemplating what it would be like to not be able to step out on the back porch or for that matter the front porch and squeeze off a few rounds ever since Steve has been updating on his purchase and all that had to happen to get his new revolver.Meridian_Mike wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 11:36 am Very nice looking revolver!
I would be like you...... it would be hard for me to not step out on the back porch and squeeze off a couple.....LOL.

Growing up Air Force, then serving myself, I've had over 30 addresses in maybe 20 different areas. There are pros and cons for each and every place. Are there places we think we would rather live? Certainly. But what I am certain of, and the most important "pro" there is, is that God has us here, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, for His purposes. We are blessed to be here and to be used by Him as He sees fit. Until He says, "time to go!" we'll stay right where we are, and be pleased in doing so.Meridian_Mike wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 6:08 pm And I agree with you 110%..
I would never even consider living in a city again.
I live in an "out of town" neighborhood BUT my neighbors and I have been known to step out back and dispatch a varmint if necessary.
(with live rounds in an implement of destruction....LOL)
