since then I have seen one more buck, but my tag is filled so I can only observe at this point. Also seen plenty of squirrels, a few turkeys and a buch of grouse as well...

My step-Dad died January 4, 2005.
These old Colonial knives have been in his nightstand since then.

That does look like a nice place, Scott. It is finally cool enough to really enjoy being outdoors for us Southerners. That Vanguard looks good, too. Good photo!

Really digging the lines on that Buck in your action shot, Scott. I don't normally go chasing after fixed-blades but I think I may have to add that one to the list.

Yeah, cool tool, what part does the ring play? Is that to help you hold such a small blade? Very cool looking tool, would love to check one out.
