I had a good tool-partner pass and his son gave me his Craftsman 9470 stockman.I do collect Craftsman this one seems odd,maybe Ulster?the shield imprint and jugging is like the Ulster to the left

A few I picked up over the past couple of weekends.
Case XX era 40-55 6308 swell center serpentine whittler. Red bone and pretty pocket worn. That or someone went to town.
Case 1976 6269 (I guess what you call a half congress?) red bone. Near mint.
Utica Scout. Love the spiral punch. Been carrying this one for a couple weeks. This one has some of the strangest half stops. The spear, punch, & cap lifter have kind of a "weak" half stop and the can opener has a hard half stop. By weak I mean it teeters between about 80 & 120 degrees and won't shut/open beyond this unless coaxed. The can opener has a full flat that stops at 90 degrees. Not sure if this makes sense.

Nice haul, Rex. I like all three but favor the UTICA Scout. Pre-WWII based on the can opener.

In the last few week-ends I picked these up...nothing spectacular but some are interesting. A couple of shell camp knives, Dittert bartenders knife, Italian 'Siciliano', an A.W. Wadsworth pen, and a few novelty knives. cheers

Got this S 163 because it was in good shape and Plymouth Cordage made rope that was used on the USS Constitution. Maybe some day when I visit their museum I will donate it. Interesting enough I come to find out a few of my relatives owned a rope/cordage company in Conn. Maybe this is what drives me to collecting rope knives.
