Thanks Marco. This is a Bob Lum design and I am glad to have this copy. The original is currently selling for $3,500.

These are simply beautiful knives. Amazing job on these. The defensive knife or dagger is very interesting with the way you shaped the blade and the skull crusher pommel. What great stag you found to use on these. Amazing.

Garry, I am so envious. I recognized the design immediately when I saw this. This is a first for me too. Lum had some amazing designs. That is one to treasure.

A superb bunch of fixed blades, Garry! ::tu:: The one at the top of your most recent group photo looks like a Becker; am I correct?

Thank you Mark. Mr. Lum's too early passing was a real loss.

Thanks sharpnshiny! That dagger I made with 3 leftover pieces of Damascus welded together. That pommel is threaded and the whole knife will come apart. Mostly SMKW stag.

This group seems to have a jungle-military theme to them Garry, am I correct?
They all appear very solid wherever they came from.

I understand your impression Marco. Mr. Becker's designs were not explicitly for military purposes tho they could serve in those functions. Primarily, they were for camping and general outdoor purposes. They have something of a cult following. They are very rugged and highly effective patterns. Ethan Becker was a life-long outdoorsman. Today his knives are made by Ka-Bar in their NY plant.

Marco, what you are seeing in IMan's photo are Becker/KaBars. There is a range of colorful handle scales that many use to dress up their Beckers. I haven't seen Iman's handle covers before.

Thanks Marco, thanks Quick, appreciate the mention. Indeed QS, they are some aftermarket micarta scales since I feel they have much better looks and grip/purchase than the slick black grivory they come with. Thanks again.

Cool knife, and the backstory of the wood and steel is even better. ::tu:: ::tu::
