First pic....this little boy was on his first mission with his grandad (not me). Picks up this stick places it on the tree and hangs from underneath
it. Grandad says.....don't do that, it'll break and you'll fall........ I'm like beside myself, but I gain composure and say, well he's only
got about 18" to fall and if he falls he'll be embarrassed, more than in pain!! (grandad got my message).

Love seeing these boys experience the outdoors for the first time....has 2 newbies and one sophmore!!

3rd pic is boys who earned their Kershaw Ration (aka spork).

I was thinking more about the cave but you got it covered. Thanks for the links. The Lord created beauty every where. And the dam and lake turned out pretty good too. Thanks again.

This has happened long, long ago when the Earth was empty, and people lived poorly.
The Lord gave a land to the nations. All the nations stood beside his throne. Last came the Bulgarian people.
the Lord started to give, and the Devil hovered around him.
The English got first, thinking the smartest. And the Lord gave them the seas.
All received what they asked, the Finns - the lakes, the Swiss - the mountains, the Russians - the fields, the Swedes - the forests. Long gave the Lord with full hands. And the devil of all his gifts broke the best piece in secret and hid it.
And when the order of the Bulgarians came for them there was nothing left.
God wondered where he had mistaken not to get the goods. And it is the Lord - he thought it was the work of the Devil. And The Wicked was hiding in the clouds and enjoying the stolen.
But can you hide from God's eye. The angels run to help and forced Devil to return the stolen thing. God gave it to the Bulgarians.

That's why our land is the most beautiful!

Well, I was going to go to the lease to hunt this weekend, but then my buddy sent me pictures of my feeder.

Guess I will go to the lease and fix stuff this weekend. :x Darn hogs. (or cows). :x

It was staked and wired down, but they knocked it over anyway.

How far/close were you?

Probably closer than we should have been. It was down in a gully and we were up higher and about 35 yard away. It was busy with all the rotting logs and putting on fat. We were in the northern part of the park near Gardiner and it was mid October. We watched it about 15 minutes. They are fascinating creatures. We saw a grizzly the same trip but down in the Tetons. I will post a picture of that one later.

Been on the road this week, sales meeting on the Isle of Palms at Mount Pleasant SC. I did manage to get in an afternoon of fishing the harbor jetties with Captain Richard Sport Fishing. Not a big bite going on, but enough that I sure enjoyed myself. OH
