A Boker #5474 Large Congress, with ringjaw bolsters, & an Ulster #3108 Senator, with a crack in the bone just to the left of the bar shield. The manicure file on the Ulster is handy when I'm carrying a knife with strong springs - I can fix a thumbnail before it gets too bad. Also too bad is that crack. I looked at some older pictures & the crack has been there at least two or three years without me being aware of it until I started to edit this picture. I bet I'll forget it's there unless I photograph it again.
Whew weee Geo!! Your just showing off now!!! Haha! Drop dead gorgeous knives.

hope life is treating you good sir!!

Thank you TMK and woodwalker. TMK I think "sleek" is the apt adjective.

Looks pretty good to me Bomba. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
Schrades, USA 175 and a Cut Co jack unnumbered.
Thanks, I-Man! Crushing it with those Schrades again. I love the bones on that Cut Co.

Very nice fixed-blade, David, plus the 2 folders are no slouches. I think I have that blue lambfoot's twin.

Outstanding bones on both knives, geocash. Can't see the crack from here, just a good-looking equal-ender.
I knew today was going to be a rainy day and pocket space was at a premium so I went small, slender and stainless.
FYI the 2016-2019 AAPK forum knives are going on up on eBay this evening. Link is in my signature below.

If I don't use some sort of magnification, I may never see the crack again either. (At least, I hope I don't.) Thank you, sir. (Nice pattern you have in that Case.)

Two great knives Geo, I could only really see the crack when I enlarged the photo 2 times....otherwise, not very noticeable. If you didn't mention it I doubt anyone would have noticed it.
Thank you, Kim. I need magnification to see it & I hope it stays that way.

What's with companies using natural disasters and manmade ones to promote their brands??? I forget what the dishwashing soap was, but I think it was Dawn or something, after a big oil spill they showed commercials with volunteers cleaning off birds covered in oil with their soap. Then there was Tide, who saved the day with washing machines that they brought in and supplied everyone with free Tide detergent for their laundry - I think that was Katrina or something.
Anyway, here's what my future "purse carry" might be.
This is another model you may wish to consider for purse carry, Kim. It's similar to the model you posted, but it has a smaller flipper-tab that once engaged whips the blade out as fast as an auto via spring assistance and is less intrusive, as well as the flipper-tab not protruding from the frame when open like it does on the posted knife, which IMO makes the knife more streamlined.
It's an Al Mar designed Kershaw AM-5 2340 "Speedsafe" spring-assisted frame-lock, has an 8Cr13Mov drop-point blade, beautiful G-10 and steel covers, and is very well made.
Currently available at
www.kershaw-knives.net/US$33.29 + shipping (?) and worth every dime of it!
Check it out, I'm certain you'll like it!

That sounded really awesome and as though it would suit my needs, but the link didn't work.
That's likely due to me including the price in the link, sorry. I've corrected it in my post, but I assume the original link took you to the Kershaw Knives page only it says ERROR, right? If so, go back via the link, either the one you tried or the new one in my above post I corrected, and on the left scroll down to "Kershaw Folding Knives" and from there scroll down 4 rows and it's 3 from the left, right beside the model you showed us originally albeit with black handles. It says they have 10 in stock.
If this doesn't work, Google, Google, Google for a different store that's selling them!
Good luck!

Love that one, Marco! Really like the feel of the finger grooves!
Thanks, Kerry, the finger choils and over-all clean appearance of that Kershaw are what most attracted me originally, and once I had it in my hand it slid into my palm like I was slipping on a glove with my fingers fitting into the choils perfectly. You'd like that knife!

Getting ready for the anniversary of the US Constitution. No! Not the Ship...

That is the USS Constitution,

... I am referring to the old yellow piece of paper...

that guarantees our God given rights*

... So, remember September 17, 1787, on Sunday ....

kinda' an important day...
*(See "Bill of Rights" for more info.)
