That is a very good lookin' knife. I couldn't do the cold brew, but I've never turned down a cold brew.

I was hoping to like this and I am not disappointed. It’s a blend of 18 bourbons from 8 states ranging from 5-15 years old and bottled at cask strength.

It’s rich and flavorful with a hint of spice.

I will be buying this again. Very impressed!

The knife is a Case Pocket Hunter with a CV blade.

Another bottle of Smoke Wagon down the hatch. Desert Colt this time. Pretty good stuff with a high proof. The $40 price tag is just the icing on the cake.

The Buck Canoe is from the Bourbon & Blades celebration earlier last month at Red Hill Cutlery which I did not attend but wish I did.

Hey John, you are the guy that introduced me to Desert Colt when you posted a bottle that you bought. In Vegas maybe?

I have come to like it quite a bit. It’s a budget bourbon that tastes good and doesn’t mess around with the ABV. A trifecta that isn’t all that common.

Thanks T .... The best part of this thread is making room for new bottles to bring home for new pictures to post ( this is done by emptying out the old bottles a little every day.... and on the weekends a lot each day ... )

Hittin’ the Dovetail again tonight. I liked the first bottle enough to buy another one.

I removed the bail on this Rough Ryder Large Scout and it was my very first time peening a new pin. It works but I think I will do better the next time I try this. I still have one just like it with the bail attached.

Ohhh that looks great so far! ! Your wife has some skills, ... might be a good idea to keep her around a while longer .

I had a big collection of whole bunch of cool bottles from over the years and they just ended up taking up too much room. I had a yard sale and I sold ONE for a couple of bucks and the rest I was asking $1.00 a piece and still had no takers, so I gave them away to a friend of a friend ... it just seemed like such a waste for them to end up in the landfill....

I really like the rum; it has a great flavor and mixes well with orange juice (of all things ).

That's cool, Rick. My wife's brother has a drill bit for glass and he makes lighted bottles for display. We have a Tullamore Dew and a Jamieson, I'll have to take some pictures.
