I got real lucky today, found another pruning knife with a folding saw

The blade is worn but it was not much shorter than that when it was new, see photo looking straight down.

No cracks in the handles the stag is beautiful only the way an English cutler could fit it back in the day, integral bolsters/liners.

What a knife ! Dimitri somehow you keep coming up with GREAT vintage Sheffield knives. Even just one like these would be my best find in years.

I don't chase knives much anymore so it is a real treat to find a nice old knife like this in my travels. I also found a Rodgers quill knife about 20 miles away from where I found this knife, two antique Rodgers knives in one day!! Certainly reinvigorates me to know they can still be found around here and not have to buy on feebay

I suppose I should be too embarassed to stick this lowly Corn Knife in amongst all this Stag, but someone has to love and preserve them, and this Jordan meets the criteria.

The "A. Jordan/Sheffield" knives are all top notch. Nothing "lowly" about your corn knife and it is in fine condition with etch clearly visible.

Ike the only thing that I don’t like about your knife is it’s at your house instead of mine LOL That’s a nice knife and for me a maker that I’ve never seen in person. Thanks for sharing

Great old knife, Ike.

Here is another English made rope knife, blade has some bites out of it but the stag handles make up for that!
