Those Churchills are nice Jerry!

I always liked the Yellow Rose of Texas handles. The only one I have is a 73 pattern. Bought it EDC but its so dang purty I cant bring myself to use! ....yet. I think I bought about 5 years ago. Nice matching pair!

Those are some good ones, alright!
I had to go look, and, sure enough! I also had a yellow rose stockman which I gave to a cousin, a good man, but he passed away and that knife has disappeared. The trapper is available but the Ben Hogan will stay.

#47 Viper with the acorn shield. #74 Mustang with leaf shield. These things are the matching reverse in pattern #, blade shape, handle shape, about everything except bolsters, which happen to match. Opposites attract.

I just found out that the Northwoods Indian River Jack and the Schatt & Morgan Executive Jack are both built on the same Queen #99 frame...Wow, what a trip! That's good news to anyone who has wanted an IRJ but couldn't afford the astronomical asking prices because it means you can get basically the exact same knife but with a different shield for much less dough by purchasing an S&M Exec. Jack...and you can even get it with a wharncliffe blade, if you so choose.
