Ozark Trail, Sonder from Walmart, $9.97.
The D2 steel is definitely hard, it takes a diamond sharpener to sharpen it. Plain Jane look, but for the price they ask it’s a useable well made tool that won’t be a huge loss if it’s lost or walks away. Hand filling size, good lock up, good action, reversible pock clip, steel liners.

CRKT - Bandera. 3 1/2" closed.
I don't usually run up on these; but my buddy John had one, so ------
I liked the lock.

Heretic Jinn V2 just landed. This knife began life as a slip joint but V2 is a button lock flipper that has a smooth and intuitive deployment with an action that’s as satisfying as it is snappy. Heretic accomplished this while staying true to the model’s original intent: non-intimidating in size, premium in build, and easy to carry in any setting. A tactical rendition of a Wharncliffe blade.
Shown with one of my USMC black dyed leather slips custom sized for this knife.

As much as I hate to admit it, tactical folders
Reignited my interest in collecting knives. After buying too many, I have returned to being more intetested in traditional. I did acquire a few “name brand” tacticals, and a lot of “mall ninja” and “gas station” versions. Won’t bore you with the “junk”.

- a couple of Kershaws

- and a couple more Kershaws

- a couple of Remingtons

I've caried a similar Kershaw (top picture) in the past and they have been very good EDCs.
